It’s almost March! We’ve made it to the end of the week so you know what that means it’s time for the weekly pop culture wrap up. Here are this week’s pop culture headlines you need to know!

Herstory! Ariana Grande claims the Top 3 spots of the Hot 100, a feat that hasn’t been achieved by an act since the Beatles in 1964.  She’s the 1st solo artist to achieve this rare achievement while also claiming the No. 1 album in the country.  ‘Thank U,Next’ debuted with a total equivalent of 360K units.

The fashion world is mourning the loss of legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld at the age of 85. The designer is credited by Chanel with reviving the brand after the death of founder Gabrielle Chanel. In addition to his duties at Chanel, he also served as creative director at Fendi and founded his own eponymous label.

After a few twists and turns, ‘Empire’ star Jussie Smollet faces a felony charge of disorderly conduct for allegedly filing a false police report claiming two men attacked him last month. This latest development comes after two men were questioned about their involvement in the incident.  ‘Empire’ creators have decided to cut Smollet’s role from the last two episodes of the season.

R.Kelly has been charged with 10 counts of criminal sexual abuse by the Cook County State Attorney. Each count in Illinois carries a max sentence of 3 to 7 years in prison. Prosecutors are set to appear in front of a judge to issue an arrest warrant for Kelly.

Uh oh! It’s over…again for Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson. That’s not the part that’s making news but it’s the involvement of Kylie Jenner’s confidante, Jordyn Woods, being the other party of this entire mess.  Khloe and Co. have taken to Instagram to show their belief of the entire ordeal.  Paging Kris Jenner to start taking Woods down.
