New month, new box to unbox. Try saying that 3X without messing it up.
It’s insane how there’s so many products out there for the male population but it just seems to be a bit of disconnect between guys and the skincare products. This month marked another birthday so it’s become even more important to do a little self care and hang on to the youth that seems to be fading away.
Birchbox Man is a subscription service that allows you to try, research, and purchase skincare products. Ladies, they also have a monthly subscription dedicated for you. Click here to try it out! The box is a monthly delivery of samples that is tailored to your tastes and needs. The items below came in their March box – if you’re interested in subscribing, click here!
Anthony Invigorating Rush Hair & Body Wash
The vibrant color of aqua that greets you when you pick up the bottle grabbed my attention. The burst of color reveals a combination of eucalyptus, birch leaf, and Canadian balsam that leave you smelling so minty that you’ll want to shower twice just to keep the smell going. The main trio of ingredients will leave you refreshed and moisturized while also repairing your skin. The only downside is that it’s a 2-for-1 deal with it taking care of your hair and body. Sorry y’all! I like it when the product focuses on one thing or the other.

Oars + Alps Face + Eye Cream
The dark, blue shade of the packaging won me over before trying this particular moisturizer. Sometimes, a moisturizer will feel heavy as soon as you put it on your skin but this one feels light especially on excessive oily skin. The one-two punch of Vitamin E and Aloe rejuvenate your skin and fight the aging process. The brand just partnered up with Target this past February so it’s a double win for the ever-growing brand.

Kiehl’s Oil Eliminator Deep Cleansing Exfoliating Face Wash
One of the basic necessities that should be in your medicine cabinet is a cleanser. As a person that has extremely oily skin (thanks parentals!), this daily cleanser keeps the skin in check and removes the excess with the help of the apricot seeds and argan shells. After using this cleanser, your skin is left feeling clean and smooth for a day out. In addition, it minimizes your pores and reduces shine.

Marlowe No. 102 Men’s Body Scrub Soap
A sucker for a good looking bar of soap…this month’s selection looked like a block of marble ready to be used for deep cleansing. If you’ve got sensitive skin, this may not be the product for you due to the bar feeling like sand rubbing up on your skin. It doesn’t hurt but it does feel a bit weird. After you’ve scrubbed away the dead skin, you’ll be feeling all sorts of brand new and silky smooth.

Jack Black Double-Duty Face Moisturizer SPF 20 – 3.3 oz
If you’re not going to do anything besides wash your face with a bar of soap, you should at least put on some sunscreen to protect your skin. Most sunscreens do feel a bit heavy when you’re putting them all over but this particular product is a combination of moisturizer and sunscreen. It gives your skin that post vacation glow that you’re in search for during the work week but it also protects your skin from the harmful UV rays that hit us during the daytime. This is a definite must-have product in your medicine cabinet.
